General Trip Information
Q: What are the age limits for passengers?
A: We recommend ages 10 and up, depending on the individual’s comfort level. Please let us know in advance if a child-sized life vest is needed.
Q: Where will we be fishing?
A: Fishing locations vary depending on the targeted species, but most trips are within 30 minutes from the Port of Edmonds. The captain will provide details before departure.

A: Trips in the morning are about 6 hours and afternoon trips are about 4 hours. Trip durations vary depending on the package you book. Please refer to your booking confirmation or contact us directly for exact times.
Q: Are there bathrooms available?
A: Yes. There is a restroom before you enter the dock gate, located near the boat racks and bathrooms at the south end of the marina. You’ll need a passcode to access it—please text Captain Kyle before arrival, and he will provide it.
There is also a marine toilet (head) onboard the boat for your convenience during the trip.
Q: Do I need to buy a fishing license prior to the trip?
A: No need to purchase a license in advance. We offer daily fishing licenses on the boat for $10 per person. If you already have a valid annual fishing license that covers the species you'll be targeting, you do not need to purchase an additional license. Please remember to bring it with you with a valid ID.
Q: Is fishing gear provided, or can I bring my own?
A: Yes, all fishing gear and equipment is provided, including rods, reels, tackle, and bait—everything you need for a successful day on the water. However, if you prefer to use your own gear, you're more than welcome to bring it along.

Motion sickness medication (if prone)
A cooler if you plan to take fish home
Q: Do you have any sea sickness recommendations?
A: Yes! If you're prone to motion sickness or unsure how you'll feel on the water, here are some helpful tips:
1. Some guests find relief with over-the-counter options like Dramamine
Take the first dose the night before your trip, especially if you’re prone to seasickness.
Take a second dose 1 hour before boarding the boat.
This ensures the medication is fully absorbed and active before you're on the water. We recommend checking with your doctor or pharmacist beforehand to ensure it's safe for you.
2. Consider Motion Sickness Patches
Prescription patches like Transderm Scop (scopolamine) are placed behind the ear and can last up to 3 days.
These need to be applied at least 4 hours before your trip begins. Ask your doctor in advance.
3. Eat a Light, Non-Greasy Meal Before the Trip
Avoid heavy, greasy, or acidic foods.
Toast, crackers, or a light sandwich are good options.
4. Stay Hydrated (But Avoid Alcohol Before the Trip)
Drink water, not coffee or alcohol, before heading out. Dehydration can worsen symptoms.
Q: What happens to the fish we catch? Do you clean and pack it?
A: Absolutely! Captain Kyle will clean and fillet your fish after the trip. Bags and ice are provided to keep your catch fresh. If you’re traveling or want to store your fish long-term, we recommend bringing a cooler.
Other Questions
Q: Is gratuity included in the price?
A: No, tips are not included but are greatly appreciated. If you had a great time, the industry standard is 15–20%.
Q: Where do we meet and park?
A: We depart from the Port of Edmonds. You'll meet Captain Kyle at the gate—he’ll need to unlock it for you. The dock is at the south end of the marina near the boat racks and restrooms. Parking is available nearby but can only park in the spots with white lines.
